Sometimes it is hidden within lines, symbols, and quiet metaphors. This self-portrait is not an attempt to capture an appearance. It is an attempt to preserve a state of mind—the ability to wonder, to keep asking questions, and to continue looking upward, even when the answers have yet to be found. Perhaps a person's truest portrait is not their face at all. But what they continue to reach for.
