Where does a person end, and where does the world begin? At times, it seems there is a clear boundary between the two. But look a little closer, and it begins to disappear. Our thoughts become winding roads, our memories transform into cityscapes, our dreams rise like mountain peaks, and our emotions stretch as endlessly as the sky. The woman's face is hidden behind geometric forms. This is no coincidence. We are used to seeing with our eyes, yet the most meaningful things can never truly be seen—they can only be felt. From her mind flows a stream that is at once hair, wind, river, and time itself. It weaves together nature and the city, the past and the future. It suggests that the world around us may simply be an extension of our inner landscape—or perhaps that we, in turn, are only a small part of a much greater story. This artwork invites us to pause for just a moment and ask ourselves a simple question: What shapes my inner world today—my fears or my dreams? Perhaps every landscape we see around us begins within.
